Esmé Gigi Geneveve Squalor is the city's sixth-most-important financial adviser. Her nature is clearly demonstrated by her obsession with what’s in and out. When she adopts the Baudelaires she lives with her husband Jerome Squalor in an impossibly enormous apartment penthouse on the 66th floor of 667 Dark Avenue. She is Count Olaf girlfriend, but broke up since The Penultimate Peril. She has been with Count Olaf since The Ersatz Elevator to The Penultimate Peril. She might of die in a fire of the Hotel Denouement.
